I think this should be a reminder to everybody. Be prepaired!
One winter I was crossing back across the stream with my clothes in my backpack and shoes in hand , when I slipped and fell into the cold water. My backpack and shoes got wet. So I had no dry clothes to put on when I reached the other side. The sun was setting and the air temp was droping. My towel was soaking wet and weighd about three pounds. I figuired I better get out quik before I get Hypothermia. So I left the wet towel on a rock and put on my wet boxers and shoes. I had to get back to my truck as fast as posible! That was the fastest I ever got back to my truck! Buy the time I reached my truck my boxers and shoes had frosted!
Dave was just leaving the parking area. He stopped and gave me a strange look as I walked over to my truck. You gotta remember its like freezing and Im in my boxers! Funny now but things could have gone bad.
