I went in yesterday (Veteran's Day) and fished all morning. Although I haven't fished Deep Creek in years, in the past I usually get on the PCT at Devil's Hole and walk north for about 45 minutes to an hour, then descend. Yesterday, I just went in at Devil's Hole and fished downstream. Not much luck, but when I turned around (about noon) and fished upstream on the way back, I caught 8 nice fish. I caught one 14" (fat) rainbow and another 12" brown. I nymphed the riffles (not much luck in the pools).
It was great to see that the fish have returned.
