If you are looking to fish for trout you can find them essentially from Willow Creek on up stream on Deep Creek. Years of major flooding do wash some down the creek where they can live in the deeper pools through the spring and early summer. Once late summer hits with the high temps the creek warms up to much for them to live generally in areas below Willow Creek. After one big flooding year there were numerous trout in the creek all the way down to DCHS and below it aways. Then there was a two week extreme heat spell and after that I found trout laying in places on the shore, succumbing to the high creek temps. In the late 60's I used to go fishing with my dad up to Devils Hole and we did quite well back in those days :-)
