Lets face it people. The water is very high and frigid from the snowmelt. If you decide to come out here, be prepared for a harsh environment. It's dipping well into the 30s at night and hypothermia is a possibility so come prepared with an extra set of warm clothes, a flashlight and use common sense so you dont get lost hiking out. A few years back, a 23 year old woman died of hypothermia after becoming lost in the dark on her way back to the car. the message is......be prepared!
