Hotspringer has been informed and realizes that he shouldn't build the pool. As Jobe, Wizard, and Rick have indicated, it is NOT a good idea to build another pool. The Forest Service is totally opposed to building any new pools. In a worst case scenario, if a new pool is built, it will piss off the FS enough that they could institute a closure of the hot springs and the area around it.

Rebuilding of the Arizona Pool is OK however, as that pool always gets wiped out by high water. And usuually rebuilding of that pool consists of a little shoveling and rearranging of the natural rocks.

Has anyone been down to the springs since the storm? I would imagine it would be impossible to cross the creek.
