We got a pretty heavy spell of rain here in Apple Valley today and there was even more south of us in the San Bernardino Mountains where DCHS is. The creek level probably is up significantly and would most likely not be that safe to cross, especially at night. Going by way of the Bradford Ridge trail from the south side enables you to avoid the Deep Creek crossing. The Arizona, Crab Cooker and Serenity pool most likely are under the stream waters right now. More rain to come late Tuesday and again a bigger storm that today's Wedns/Thurs.
