Wow! I wonder who was watching the state of Oregon? Sounds like they were all in California! LOL
What's with the cows? Are they allowed to graze in the area, or just running loose? It doesn't seem that large, hoofed herbivores would be very beneficial to that ecosystem.
I was thinking about heading out to DCHS this weekend, but the weather forecast looks a little cool for my taste. Still, I feel the need to get out of town for a while, so I might suffer the cool weather. If I do make it, I'll try to help out with that trash some. If you could explain what you're trying to do with the Arizona Pool, I'd be willing to try to help. (Also, if you could confirm which one it is...I think I know. Is it the furthest upstream pool, that's actually in the creekbed, instead of above it?)
