SAN DIEGO COUNTY VALLEYS-SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY MOUNTAINS-
RIVERSIDE COUNTY MOUNTAINS-SANTA ANA MOUNTAINS AND FOOTHILLS-
SAN DIEGO COUNTY MOUNTAINS-APPLE AND LUCERNE VALLEYS-
COACHELLA VALLEY-SAN DIEGO COUNTY DESERTS-

...MUCH COOLER WEATHER EXPECTED OVER THE WEEKEND ALONG WITH THE
POSSIBILITY OF SHOWERS LATE TONIGHT AND SATURDAY...

A COLD LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING SOUTH ALONG THE NORTHERN
CALIFORNIA COAST WILL PASS THROUGH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA LATE
TONIGHT...SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT. THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING A
CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TO THE AREA
LATE TONIGHT AND SATURDAY.

DAYTIME TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN IN THE 50S TO LOWER
60S ON SATURDAY WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS AND THE NORTHERN DESERT
AREAS AND MAINLY IN THE 30S AT THE RESORT LEVELS IN THE MOUNTAINS.
THE DAYTIME TEMPERATURES FOR THE COACHELLA VALLEY AND BORREGO
SPRINGS AREA SHOULD BE IN THE MID 60S ON SATURDAY.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF BETWEEN A TENTH OF AN INCH AND A QUARTER OF
AN INCH IS POSSIBLE WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS AND BETWEEN A QUARTER
AND A THIRD OF AN INCH IS POSSIBLE ON THE COASTAL SLOPES OF THE
MOUNTAINS ARE POSSIBLE FROM THIS STORM.

THE SNOW LEVEL WILL LOWER TO AROUND 5000 FEET LATE TONIGHT AND
SATURDAY WHICH WILL ALLOW SOME SNOW FLURRIES AT THE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE LIGHT.

THE UPPER LOW SHOULD MOVE OUT QUICKLY LATE SATURDAY NIGHT AND
SUNDAY WHICH SHOULD BRING CLEARING ON SUNDAY.

STRONG GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS
AND THROUGH AND BELOW PASSES AND CANYONS LATE SATURDAY NIGHT AND
SUNDAY AS THE LOW PRESSURE MOVES TO THE SOUTHEAST AND AWAY FROM
THE AREA.
