Paul, I understand the fire danger, that's why I was thinking about the screened pit. It does a good job of containing any sparks. But if you feel it's a bad idea, I'll reconsider. Cold and windy? Hopefully not too much, but I can prep for that. We've been camping at Lake Mohave under those conditions. Might put a damper on the nudity though (diehard nudist here. LOL)...
