An old timer in that area (Summit Valley) Said " There was a tree in that area and they built the curves in the road to go around a very large tree. The tree died years ago and there was no reason to have curves in the road.
Those undulations were more like speed bumps and caused by the pavement rolling down hill.
The 14 million $ those little girls parents got was the stimulus for fixing this dangerous section of highway. That is why they (DOT) is broke. Law suites drive safety nowadays.
I have built building around highways. I built the Dave and Busters Restaurant there in San Diego. It fallows I think it is the 15 freeway and the 8 freeway. Am I right or is it some other freeway ?
