Re: Vehicles vandalized at the top of Freedom Trail

I have been around the hot springs and here is what I have surmmerized to have happened. I have talked to four eyewitnesses and several persons who claim to know what happened.
I too was there before this tragedy happened.
I went to the springs several days over that weekend. I noticed the white Ford Explorer there because I used to own a 1994 just like it. I noticed it was white with a red pin stripe and it appeared to be the same year as mine. It was blocking a grey Izisu that was at the end of the trailhead. I guessed that they must have come together and were friends. Otherwize the Izisu would be blocked in and could not leave. The Explorer was there every day I went to the springs that weekend. I think I went on Thursday, Saturday and on Tuesday. I went early on I think it was Saturday @ 6:00 am. When I got to the springs no one was in the pools so I went there. I was there about 20-30 minuets when A young white guy with tattoos over most of his body came over to the pools. He had a beer in one hand and a pack of cigarettes in the other. When he settled into the pool I said in a loud clear voice "GOOD MORNING." He ignored me as if I was not there, lighting his cigarette. So I left to get away from his stink.
I remember he had tattoos of demons chasing each other. One had a chainsaw for his chase. And something about commemorating the Texas chainsaw Massacre. Like that was a very momemberable event.
Later, another tattooed guy who was camping down stream from the springs and on the left. Came and joined him. He appeared drunk. As they talked every other word was a cuss word. They also talked very loud.
Here is what others who do not want to be named told me. The white Explorer driver ran out of gas as they were leaving the springs. On a steep part of the hill where no one else could leave or get around him to go home. So, some body broke his window out and pushed the Explorer down the hill so they could go home.
The out of gas guy did not return until the next day. He was cussing and pissed off at every one and accusing every one of messing up his Explorer. He took an axe and broke out the windows in 3 vehicles. Then returned with his gas can and burned a friend of mines truck.
Last Friday morning @ 10:00am as I was returning to the area. I had just drove through dead mans corner and crested the hill when I spotted a large humvee coming toward me. Dragging my friends burned up Truck behind him.
I toured the Freedom trailhead and guess there is enough trash left there to fill up a truck.
