Thanks for reporting this here. Thank heavens the fire did not spread. I wish I would have been camping nearby to catch them.
Last week, while I was in the area with my '96 Ford f-150 I talked to some of the locals about this situation. The word or gossip that is going around about the vandalism is that some one who hates dopers is watching for dopers at the springs. Then they are going to their cars and messing them up.
Did the victims report this incident to the authority's ? And was the Ford truck white like mine? They may have been looking for me if it was. Or Some one at the Bowen ranch may have been trying to get more business to go there, perhaps my trip report @ there being more cars at the freedom trail than at the Bowen ranch persuaded them to do this terrible act.
Just my thoughts about this. I was victimized back in I think it was '02. I reported my incident to the sheriff's dept. in Victorville. I even rented a metal detector and dug up the bullet they used. It was a 9 millimeter bullet just like what Mike Castro is so fond of. That does not prove he did this or my incident , however.
Incidents like this leaves a mental scar that encourages me to catch these PRICKS.
Just keep this in mind, Vengeance is Mine says the Lord.
It is persons like these vandals that make me thankful that I fought for my right to keep and bare my guns.
