On the way back from hot springing in Baja, we got a "ticket" from a Mexican policeman for a CRS (California Rolling Stop). He wanted "mordita" -payment of $30 . I refused to pay and told him I would follow hin back to the Tijuana police substation. Upon arrival, I went in and paid the ticket - only $2.00! However, my girlfriend had meanwhile opened up the trunk to get something and dropped the keys in the trunk. We tried to pry it open and come through the back seat, but to no avail. I thought, "If anyone can get into a locked car, it would be a Mexican policeman". The same guy who tried to get the 30 bucks came out and also could not get into the trunk. Instead, I couldn't believe it when he gave me the keys to his 68 Camaro so we could drive back up across the border to get the extra car keys!!!
