I saw two rattle snakes on Saturday the 13 th. One was about 3' long all coiled up but looking relaxed @ PCT trail
and the canyon above the sand beach area. I left him alone and informed people in area as to location. I saw one more
about 2 miles north of DCHS about 40' off of trail. This one was about 1' to 2' and just enjoying the sun. So just be a little careful
when hiking.
