Good info Rick- one of the problems we have in San Diego is our varied topography. We have many houses adjacent to deep canyons, and in some cases it's impossible for homeowners to maintain the 100 foot clear cut barrier. Since our last big fires, residents have gotten more cognizant of the need to do this.
