Impartial, Lets look at a statement in your last post " Do I suggest that we not talk about any of this? Of course not. ". This statement and the use of the word " any " implies that we " should " be able to express ourselves here. Now lets look at another statement in your previous post " still firmly believe that if the Forest Service wants a reason to shut the place down, all the acrimony and vengence and emotion displayed on the website and in this forum would be all they need ". Do you see the contridiction in your words, I do. Written things do cause change. You think the words written here will be a negative thing for DCHS and I think they may turn out to be a positive influence. I state previously that the Forest Service will not shut down the springs because of words stated on this Forum, they will respond to the actions of people around the springs. This is a completely sound statement. People of opposing veiwpoints are not going to find common ground from which to address a common problem by cutting off lines of communication as exist on this forum. Here's something I find interesting. Why is it that the other big player in these contentious arguments, Mike Castro, never finds the time or seems to care about defending his actions or positions concerning all of these issues. Katrina defends herself, brings forth lots of information and expresses her veiws regularly. Mike Castro is always defended by others here. He is obviously wound up by all that goes on on this Forum. It appears to me that he is afraid to be tested on his opinions here. If he cares about the springs as much as he says he does and beleives that he has been, and is being misrepressented then I find it telling that all he does is sit on the sidlines and remains silent.
