That is a great idea. So you (Ron) work with an association, you know what I am talking about: board of directors, no personal agendas, common goals, ect. I would be interested in being part of such a group of people who's focus was directly on helping DCHS. I really don't feel DCHS inc. is the appropriate place for such activities, its too tied in with a particular outcome to represent a broader spectrum of people and be credible to a public land agency.
Actually the government cannot guarantee ones safety in undeveloped natural areas. The constitution does not protect one from the whims and chances of nature. Closing the Moss Mill Road presents no liability to the forest service. Easier access is not the forest services responsibility. That like sugesting putting in roads in wilderness areas and national parks to provide access to evacuate people. In our wild places its our self reliance and sound mind that will protect us from the elements of nature, not the govenrment.
