I agree Murray.
I think most textiles are aware they may encounter nudity, and many would likely join if they felt strength in numbers. By avoiding the weekends completely, Deep Creek becomes an established textile area.
Deep Creek will maintain an established naturist tradition only if frequented by naturists - so I think "nude it or lose it".
I've only been coming to DC since late last summer, and have not yet had any negative encounters regarding my attire both on the trail or in the springs even when the ratio is decidedly textile. I suspect quite a few are sitting their wishing there were more naturists so they could have the courage of numbers to join in.
People who are offended at nudity at DC are like people who go to a bar and are offended that people are drinking alcohol. "OMG! the nerve of that guy over there drinking a beer in the middle of the room! Who wants to see that?"
