I enjoyed my visit with Celtfire when he stayed at our home last night, and today at DCHS
A gal alerted Celtfire and I about the rattlesnake that was nestled in the granite right next to the trail that goes behind the rocks on the east side of the main hotpools. We were heading that way and it was hidden such that a person would have walked right by it, within a foot or two without even noticing it. I had to keep an eye on my dogs when they passed it so they didn't stir it up. Great weather at the springs today and I took some photos and will get them on my Flickr Photo site, perhaps tomorrow, and will post when they are reading for viewing
