Moss Mill Road

The easement on Moss Mill Road was created by a grant easement recorded in the county records. This easement allowed access for the property owner to the south. This property would be landlocked without this easement.

In 1990, the property that this easement belongs to was sold to the United States of America. Land belonging to the United States of America is managed by the Bureau of Land Management and is considered public land.

That means in addition to the public use of Moss Mill Road over many years which does develop a public right to use this road for access, when the United States of America purchased the land and easement, this easement became public land.
