newspaper article on Deep Creek

Hi there soakers ... I'm a freelancer writing an article on deep creek hot springs and hoped the forum could clue me in a bit regarding the springs' history, unusual features and current challenges. FYI, I am aware of allegations concerning Mike Castro and disappearances in the area. I also know about the feds reworking their mgmt plans, which may affect usage. I've read a lot of postings from this site already ... what I want to hear about is --- what do these springs mean to the soaking community .. not just locally but in the southwest and beyond. Thanks for any help. P.S. I enjoyed my first visit to the springs in December.
