Another early morning Friday found a crowd of 10 people camping on the beach and the womb was full by 730 am. The cold weather is over as is the solitude. By 1100 am when I hiked out almost 30 were on both sides of the creek with 3 groups hiking in with 12 more to add to the weekend like crowd. As I drove out I found at least 5 more cars heading in to the Ranch.
The creek was up from last week. It was about 3 inches below the lower pool. The crossing was 5 feet deep in places and running with a some energy. The trails are in good condition. I hiked up to Willow Creek and found the trails in the same fairly good condition as last year. Wild flowers are beginning to bloom next to that part of the trail.
When I left their was no significant trash and those around were picking up after themselves. Until next trip.
