Very good trip report Murray !
The up side of getting lost is next time you will already know.
You seem to keep your eagle eyes open and are more aware than most hikers.
The Bradford ridge trail is very helpful for staying in shape.
I would bet money those bikers were smart enough to avoid the rangers on the hill. Or they may have been rangers on patrol?
