For tomorrow, don't worry about snow or rains causing the river to rise. We have had only very spotty rain up here in the high desert yesterday and today ( as well as the mountains around Deep Creek ). More rains may come into the area late Sunday into next week. Murray, if you have trouble finding the beginning of the Bradford Ridge trail which starts ( looking northerly ) on the right hand side of Kinely Creek at the Kinely Creek bridge on HWY 173, just follow Kinely Creek down on the right side of the canyon and you will find the trail. The Bradford Ridge trail follows this creek on the right side for the first 20 minutes of hiking or so, pretty close to the creek bed at first, then higher up the further you hike. And after about a half hour of hiking when you reach the barbed wire fence where you can look down in the canyon, and can see DCHS, the trail is better if you cross over the fence and go left, rather than follow the alternate trail which goes right down a steeper ridge. On either trail once you reach the PCT, go right to DCHS. Good Luck :-)
