Larry, thanks for your post, but it sure leaves a lot of unanswered questions.
1) Why were the Sheriffs deputies there? Were they investigating the gunfire incidents, or something else?
2) Who contacted the Sheriff's deputies initially?
3) Did anyone at the springs speak to the "boys" about safety issues with them shooting near the springs?
4) Did anyone see the boys getting into a car to leave Bowen Ranch?
5) Was Mike Castro (the Bowen Ranch Gatekeeper) discussing the incident with the Sheriff's deputies?
I definitely agree with you that one should not stereotype people based on the car they drive. Making assumptions like that can be very misleading.
