Naked Man, When someone buys a peice of property, before the purchase is made, they " desire " to own it, and this property does not " belong " to them, previous to them buying it. That would be the case with anyone gaining ownership of something. So perhaps all acts of gaining ownership are fishy :-) You talk of " desiring to own land " in the same sentence as where you say " based on the occasional use of a dirt road on that property ". I don't think that the occasional use of any dirt road has to do with Katrina's claim that the Bowen Ranch Building and surrounding easement are owned by DCHS. This idea of the occasional use of a dirt road would be an argument by some as to why the Moss Mill road should have remained as an open route, because it was used as an access route to the springs by the public for many years. I know in certain cases the publics regular use of a road, even if it crossed private property, would cause it to be a legal public access. Whether the Moss Mill road qualifies for this interpretation, I would not know. Katrina is also seeking to find help from some of our elected officials. I beleive she is dissatisfied with the inaction of the local officials on matters that relate to situations around the Bowen Ranch. All of us have the right to seek help from the public officials we elect and I see nothing dishonerable or illegal about that, I would, of course, expect the officials to be lawful in what help they offered to the inquiring citizen. Mike Castro certainly has the right to do the same. Naked Man you state " Whats the truth " and then state " I wouldn't know ". You then later use the word " deduce " in describing the nature of how you have come to your conclusions. There is nothing wrong with that, we all do it. I would suggest that many times, deductions transform themselves into facts, in the minds of many. A fact after all is just a human interpretation of events that is considered solid enough to warrant being given that title, but it happens all the time that " facts " are disputed between opposing parties. A great current example is the situation of conflict between Isreal and Palestine. So facts are not as reliable as they sometimes seem. Its good to see that you admit not knowing the ultimate truth in these disparities between Mike Castro and Katrina. Keeping an open mind is always the best policy to help us gain a " greater " understanding of the things that go on around us in this funny little thing we " call " reality :-)
