A couple of years ago, a young woman froze to death after becoming lost in a snowstorm here. Her and her boyfriend stumbled into a neighboring property where they took shelter in an old broken truck. She succumbed to extreme hypothermia and her boyfriend survived.
Snow is pretty but the cold is deadly. If you are unprepared in this country, you may be the next victim. Years ago a local resident froze to death in a blizzard after his truck became stuck. DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!
