Yea Rick,
That book would probably be good reading. One for ya,ll to read could be "The killer next door". I read that about 2 years ago and was constantly reminded of Mr. Castro. That book teaches the warning signs of how to reconize a psycopath.
All those signs I did not recognize in Mr. Angstrom. But all of that money and drugs may have magnified that in him.
I remember when Vet Ed found those bones by Deep creek and turned them over to police. Then the focus was on Castro as one of his possible victums.
While talking to David about that he told me that it could be one of his victums. He was very serious about it. But we both just shrugged it off as funny.
Reminds me of one of my favorite songs:
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in his law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth it's fruit in it's season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind blows away,
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For the lord knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.
On my last visit with David he told me he would like to come to Las Vegas and see Gold Strke canyon and hot springs with me. He said he would like to do so in a comfortable RV.
I offered to sell him my bus/rv. Something I would do only for him. He said he would consider that. I asked him what he would do when he ran out of money. He replied, "He would proably just die".
