Cred, You really like that word ashamed :-) You must be tied to the Bowen crowd since you continue to insist that somehow the fact that the route 3 trail exist ( and is hiked by, I must say, a very few people ) that somehow this is the one thing, in all the years of the publics visitation of DCHS that will cause the Forestry Dept. to throw up thier hands and decry the springs are now closed. Of course why should I be so supprised that you would think such a thing when you have shown us in your last post that you " really " thought that I was serious in describing rodents as providing help in building the switchbacks on the route 3 trail. The cows and horse thing was not a joke concerning large portions of this trail. Just because someone happens to build a trail in the canyon I have hiked through for a long time does not mean I'm going to now stop hiking that way. That canyon is the most beautiful route you can take to the springs. Every other one is burnt. Speaking of trails, I suspect you are hiking down the Bowen Trail and probably starting at the Bowen Ranch or the Forestry parking lot. On your hike down I'll bet its a good bet that you take the trail around the side of Mo Fo Hill and not right over the top of it. That side trail was created by a private person in the beginning. Seeing how you feel about such things I'm sure you will be staying off it from now on so as not to support an illegal trail as you put it. Hope you will enjoy that nice slid down the face of Mo Fo :-) You know I think I really am a Wizard with the ability to read minds. Your next post will have the words ashamed, excuses, support and wrong or at least one of these words. Lets see if I'm a Wizard after all :-)
