It is not slander when it is the truth. Mike Castro did name me in a cross-complaint for slander, however, I was never served with the cross-complaint even though I appeared in court on numerous occasions. I would like resolution on these issues through an appropriate legal process. I believe that the public is at risk until that time.
This website is a warning to the public. This could happen to anybody out there be careful.
County Supervisor Bill Postmus' office has reviewed my evidence and is speaking with the Bureau of Land Management about these issues. Tim Salt, District Manager, was transferred recently to Washington, D.C. So now there is an Interim District Manager, Linda Hansen.
I would hope that most of the appropriate law enforcement agencies would have investigated this complaint. The documentation is extensive and includes public defender's office interviews, sheriff reports, blm incident reports, signed declarations by the victims, official correspondence, 143 exhibits total.
Let me tell you based on extensive personal investigation into San Bernardino County law enforcement and more, San Bernardino County is unlike most counties. Its a horse of a different color. At least I certainly hope so. The county is in the midst of a corruption scandal wherein 18 Government officials and businessmen have been indicted by the U. S. Attorney's Office.
However, I am greatly encouraged by Supervisor Bill Postmus.
Concerning the access around the ranch. I may need clarification on the current situation concerning the roads. Due to the Willow Fire and the subsequent BLM closure of the land, there were fences placed on both sides of the routes. I am not sure if these fences are still there or not.
These fences prevented any parking along those routes. Then once you were past the Forest Service fence you were allowed to park with an Adventure Pass. I am not sure if there is a place to park along the route once it passed the Forest Boundary. Wizard can probably clarify the current conditions.
If this is the case where you can reach a spot with a 2-wheel drive and legally park then that may be satisfactory. However, Mike Castro can observe any vehicle that goes past the Bowen Ranch on this route and there has been vandalism to the cars who access through this route. Mike Castro observed Gary Roe passing on that route one day and then lay in wait for Gary Roe to return from the springs and then he assaulted Gary Roe.
This is another objection to this route. Because Mike Castro goes onto public land and accosts the public.
Concerning the cartoons, they may have a rather harsh message, however, they are the expression of Jim Pepper. This was his way of expressing his first amendment rights about the situation with Mike Castro. I am sorry if his opinions offend you, however, the expressions on the Caution: Violence link are the expressions of the victims. Of course, the victims are emotional.
There is only one story on that link that my expression of an experience. That link is the story about the Playboy Bunny. She is a friend of mine who was accosted in October 1996. Just before the suspicious death of Ronnie Bates.
When my lady friend and companion were accosted and threatened with a gun by Mike Castro, I was pretty upset and sad about it. I contacted the Sheriff's Department. I encouraged her to contact them. She never did probably because she wanted to continue going to the springs. After that she always accessed through the Bowen Ranch and paid Mike.
Deputy Sheriff Pennington was contacted and I sent documentation to him including other victims names and phone numbers. Deputy Pennington came out to the area and interviewed several witnesses. He said that Mike Castro had a rap sheet the length of his forearm. He appeared to be very concerned and sincerely investigating.
Then he told me that the BLM had advised him that they had an agreement with Mike Castro. Deputy Pennington said he was waiting to receive this information. After that, I never heard from him again even after several phone calls.
They would say that he was on vacation, then out on patrol. I then realized that this was something bigger. There was something wrong here.
I didn't take any further action until the jawbone of Ronnie Bates was found and the four young adults were terrorized on Moss Mill Road. I was able to confirm that the young ladies did file a report with the Sheriff's Department. The Sheriff's Department did not take any action concerning the false imprisonment, brandishing and discharge of a firearm, and terrorists threats carried out by Mike Castro.
What is on this website should disturb most people as we are all human beings. What disturbs me more is that the appropriate agencies have not conducted an investigation into these allegations. That is scary. Especially when you know these events occurred and you realize that the Government agencies are turning a blind eye.
