I checked out that website Katrina. Lots of good info, links etc there. The ongoing economic crisis and locked up credit situation worldwide has created a great deal of demand destruction regarding oil usage in the large industrial economies, which has precipitated a significant downturn in oil prices of late. The world as a whole however is still gorging on massive amounts of oil every day. The more ominous repercussions of inevitable energy production declines have been blunted for the time being by the global world recession conditions but the reality still remains that overall world reserves of oil are now in decline and energy difficulties for the world's biggest economies will become more problematic even despite the soon to be negative economic growth of the period we are now entering. Those that don't know much of anything about the true realities of energy supply and demand in this world are prone to believe that just because oil prices have moved downward in recent months that this means the energy crisis is over. The truth is the greater energy woes have just been temporarily delayed but are still coming for all of the energy intensive societies worldwide.
