Paul,
I grump because I see a change in society, a change that reminds me of the 50s and early 60s, when most people didn't know anything about respecting the environment, trees were for cutting down and the body resresented SIN!!! The revolution of the late 60s-early 70s changed much of that in my world and now I see those now long respected values eroding.
I hate to admit that I haven't been to the springs since 2005, a year before my heart surgery. I will be returning this summer, stronger and hopeful that at least in our little corner of the high desert we can set an example in that the ideals of the Woodstock times, the Deep Creek Hot Springs of 1970 can live on in newer generations who will be unafraid to defy the taggers, the off road bikers and the spoiled brat litterers and protect the most lovely place in all of our lives for generations unborn.
Good Lord, I can be really full of ****, can't I? WHOOAH!
