On Sunday, April 7th, I dug out my handy-dandy 5-in-one water test kit and (duh) tested the water in the Anniversary tub. Actually, I tested the waters spilling down the rocks that feed that pool, as the Anniversary tub was being cleaned at the time Sunday afternoon.
Results: Nothing surprising.
Total Hardness = 150-200 (good range)
pH = ~7.2 (neutral; good)
Total Alkalinity = 180-240 (high)
Total Chlorine = 0.0
Free Chlorine = 0.0
As you may recall, my employer suggested that the "Total Dissolved Solids" was on the high side, possibly causing the 'rash' referred to in earlier discussions. Unfortunately, this particular test kit does NOT test for TDS.
The Total Alkalinity results may be cause for concern, but I have no idea if it can be a factor for a rash.
Anyway, there ya have it. Finally. I've been carrying that test kit with me for weeks and finally remembered to use it.
