Sunday Morning I started from Lake Arrowhead(Splintters cabin) to Highway 173; The morning was crisp and bright, not a soul at the cabin parking lot, got my pack on and started down the trail. The flow of Deep Creek was slow and deliberate, like my pace, thinking that I had all day to do this small section of trail, walking among the tall pines and oak, listening to the birds erupt with whistles when I'd come around bends in the trail, Hearing the water cascade from the smooth grey rocks down below. Fearing snakes and ticks as I walked, but, not having seen any yet. OOOPPPss, my wife got honey do's for me I'll get back to my story later..
