That little waterfall next to the Powerline Rd, little Tahiti Falls I think the locals call it? Alot of motto idiots and careless people have tarnished that place :-( And further up that canyon, the Water Caves as some call it. Difficult area to get around in but lots of nooks and crannies to explore for sure. I've hiked Arastre all the way to the top. It splits above the Water Caves, going northeast, and another part goes southeasterly across the north side of Rattlesnake Mtn, where there are three magnificent and huge rock outcrops on the southside of that portion of the canyon. On the northeast upper arm of Arastre canyon, there are two more big groups of stunning rocks, with the highest and biggest ones visible from many points along the Bowen Ranch Rd ( you can see them clearly at the cattle gaurd by the village ) and from Juniper Flats. You can even see those tall granite outcrops from all over southeastern Apple Valley. Anyway I sent Talon and e-mail and asked her to contact me concerning her inquiry. Special places need special consideration :-)
