Celtfire, Rick can give you my e mail address so we can kick this idea around some. Collecting some local history would be a worthy project although somewhat time consuming. I am interested in reading Gertie's book again. I remember all of the old minor's cabins that used to be in the area.(Eagles Nest,the Green Tin Shack, Welcome Ranch and other sites) Only the Bowen Ranch, Oak Springs and the Rock House remain, all protected as private property. Juniper Ranch is still standing and in private hands as well.



And Jobe......your stories would be much more interesting if you left the sexual connotations out of them. In all of our meetings, I cant remember you even having a girlfriend with you! But.....you DID clean up your old burnt up bus and left the desert a nicer place so you do get an atta-boy for that ;0)
