small fire north of arrowhead
You might have heard a few sirens and seen some helicopters and aircraft this morning. The fire agencies responded to a wildland fire down on 173 northeast from where the road turns to dirt. The fire was off of a user defined path locally known as the Bradford trail. The fire folks stopped it at about 1.5acres and intend to be out there until it’s dead out. With the upcoming winds tomorrow and peaking on Monday, they don’t want it coming back to life and rolling into town. Helicopters have been dipping out of papoose lake adjacent to the dam on 173.
