In speaking to a "friend" of Mike Castro recently, I was told that Mike Castro likes to lien sale any and all cars that are left in his parking lot for several days. This was said in response to why Mike Castro didn't turn in and evaded questions about Ronnie Bates' rental car for several months delaying the investigation into Ronnie's death. Of course, Ronnie's rental car was clearly marked as the property of the rental car company.
Ronnie Bates' jawbone was not found until over a year later upstream from deep creek hotsprings.
But, its just the idea that Mike Castro sort of takes advantage of people who visit the springs by placing liens for storage fees and gaining the ownership of their vehicles at the lien sale.
