I hiked down to Deep Creek today ( 1-27 ) and took some photos of the flooding from last nights rain. I put two of the photos at the Flickr site listed above. While hiking out there was intense winds, heavy rain, and even hail. Since the snow level is currently high, the rains are melting the snows in the lower elevations. Nice to know that Deep Creek is getting a good cleaning from the flooding. The rains should make for good growth of plants, trees and flowers this springs in the canyon :-) Paul, glad you enjoyed the pics. At this time I'm still using both photo sites, MSN and Flickr. I like that the Flickr site has the larger version of the photos available :-)
