I was looking to take a trip out this way towards the end of April and introduce my fiance to the springs. I have a rooftop tent on my T4R and was curious to know if there is anywhere near DCHS that I could park, open up the tent and sleep for the night without having to worry about getting into trouble; I'm coming from the southern side of the springs near Lake Arrowhead. Would I have to go to an actual campground? Hoping not as I'm not a fan of how they pack you in like sardines, usually.
