The Silver Fire began at approximately 1:45 PM on July 4, 2017. It is currently 15 - 20 acres. Firefighters from San Bernardino County, San Bernardino National Forest, and CALFIRE are responding to the fire.
Road Closures: Highway 138 is closed to all traffic in both directions.
Evacuations: Evacuations are in effect for the Silverwood Campground.
