Bill ,thanks for the historical perspective on those cases. Even though they didn't find any evidence of Naergleria in the Deep Creek pools back then, I agree with you that it COULD be present. Frankly, we should all err on the side of caution and not submerge our nasal passages...
Rick, thanks for the good background, that should answer a lot of questions, especially since Naergleria has been ALL OVER the news lately due to the Lake Havasu death.
