The best way from Las Vegas Directly to the Springs is also being rerouted with detours also. That would be to take St. Rose Parkway, a 6 lane highway with about 5-6 traffic lights. Alas, it too has constuction delays at this posting. It is about a 10 mile shorter route. Take St. Rose Parkway to 215 south, which is REALLLY east bound there to get to the U.S. 95, U.S. 93 Interstate 515 south bound. Go over the large hill to Boulder City, Go to the first traffic light in town and turn left. This area is a speed trap so go 45 m.p.h. and enjoy this view of Lake Meade, after 5 miles is the Hacienda Hotel Casino. Go another .5 or 1/2 a mile to the break in the gaurd rail. Turn right and go under the new bridge @ 100 yards and turn Left, go @ 1000 feet to the end of this road and park.
It is a 1.9 mile hike to the first set of hot pools. And many more there after.
