Riding a dirt bike is a bad idea. Its illegal. The trail from the dam is the Pacific Crest Trail, which is a National Scenic trail, extending from Mexico to Canada. That trail in particular is not open to bikes. Sorry about Tony. I have run into many of his type during my visits to the springs. The worst part is that they scare women off, that shouldt happen, but it does. Does any other women in the forum have any similar stories?
