When I discuss those with more money than common sense, I am referring to people who claim to be in favor of "responsible recreation", but are really aiming to end all OHV use. If you don't fit that group, then don't take it personally. I'm simply tired of being mischaracterized by a relatively small and vocal group who lies to get their political point across. These people all back 3973, simply because it applies new restrictions against what used to be legal, both on private and on public lands.
I do not claim now, nor ever have I claimed, that there isn't a problem with illegal riding in JF. But the localized issue you see there, and what some other residents see in a few selected other communities at the urban/rural interface is being used by people who have a much larger agenda. As landowners, you are being used by those with more money than common sense, who simply seek any means to eliminate OHV use (even if it's one small ordinance at a time).
I have no way of knowing what your personal agenda is regarding OHV use. I just hear the buzzwords, tactics, and "solutions" that are used by these anti-OHV groups, and the same ones are used by residents in areas such as JF. It's no coincidence.
