I'll answer for the fictional Albert here, since I believe you seem to have have incorrectly bought off on LaughingBear's theory's,
When I see a post that refers to "Reckless off-roaders called scourge" and then see a large number of follow-ups that try to put all of us in that same category, I feel a need to respond. No doubt I've gone a bit too far in some of my responses and for that I apologize. However, I rarely if ever, see any of the posters here and at DUSA defend the RESPONSIBLE Off Road recreationists, which I am a part of. Since LaughingBear has shown on many occasions, a propensity to embellish and accuse, I thought I'd pay a visit here and embellish as well.
Rather than spinning every comment, I suspect it would be beneficial to all of our causes if we could search for a common ground from where we can establish a starting point to work to correct the problems and all of the mis-conceptions of the Off Road recreationists and folks with your interests. We would all be much better served if we worked together from a common starting point rather than from an individualistic point of view.
At one point, I thought LaughingBear Dave and I had come close to that this past winter until he found the same Screen name on the D37 board and came to the conclusion that I am the same person. After that, he started flipping out and accusing me of stalking him when I went to the Farmer's Market at VVC to meet him at the booth he was working, after he had invited me there to meet him. He had even suggested I drive up into the Juniper Flats area to look around and after doing that he also accused me of stalking and threatening him. Unfortunately he wasn't at the Farmer's Market to meet and I assumed he was getting weird again. Since then, he has continued to operate in that mode with all kinds of crazy comments and conspiracy theories. After that, I've completely given up on trying to reason with him and I go out of my way to make him squirm. I determined that there is no point in talking to a rock. Dave may be a friend of your's and if you feel the need to defend him because of that, I'll respect that. If you wish to counter my comments in this post based on your friendship alone, I'll just have to consider that you as well as LaughingBear Dave, wish to continue the disrespect of each side's issues and opinions with no regard for the truth and commonality that we may share.
Regards,
Allen
