Celtfire, Brad said he would check in to what might possibly be done about the Graffiti. I'm sure the USFS do not want any chemical removers used without thier authorization. I did not go down to DCHS this Memorial weekend since I figured it would be a zoo down there. I have not seen the big graffiti close up. It looked like some kind of paint as seen from the Bowen Ranch trail, but Jobe mentioned it being some sort of plastic like material. I serriously doubt a wire brush would do any good. Sounds like Greg tried a bit of remover and had no luck. I don't know by what sensible means, a piece of graffiti that big could be removed down in the Deep Creek canyon, not being near any roads. Flying in sandblasting equipment with a helicopter would be possible, but I really doubt that the USFS would entertain that idea. I may be hiking in the Deep Creek canyon sometime this week, and if so, I'll be checking out that graffiti. I find the whole thing very disappointing. Too many fools in this world.
