Hello,
I was at D.C.H.S. all day yesterday and that ugly plastic goo is still messing up the scenery all through the canyon.
The best way to remove that much CRAP is by using paint remover by the gallon. I know some will say that would pollute the creek. However that plastic goo is more than 30 feet from the creek. Paint remover is a gaseous material that will evaporate before going 30 feet. The correct way to apply the remover is to pour it on the effected area in timed layers. This causes the plastic to peel off the effected area. After it peels back a wire brush will help to remove some of the crap from the uneven areas of the rock. You may notice the graffitti removers are watered down paint removers in small portions. That way they can jack up the price fer ya ! I used to use Kutzit brand paint remover and reccomend it if is still on the market.
Saturday I visited the springs too. I had the pleasure to hang w/las vegas fireman and Ricky, They said they had used some graffitti remover on it and it just barely made a dent in the paint. I hope those fumes did not mess up their volley ball game at Glenn Eden on Sunday?
God must love idiots --- he made sooo many of um !!
Glad to help !
