Also on Saturday, the people who's tents were taking over the whole beach area across the creek from the Crab Cooker, were transporting big armloads of wood across the stream from the little forest area, to fuel thier big bonfire. I'd imagine there is a good quantity of charcoal left over from thier fire in the sands. One of these days, a spark from all those fires that go on down there, is going to hit some dry grass. Since we are currently experienceing the lowest rainfall ever recorded for a rainy season here in So Cal, the hills around the springs are tinder dry and ready to burn.
