I remember a local down at the springs with a shotgun one time. He leaned it against the rocks while he soaked. When another soaker pointed out it wasn't a good idea to leave a gun out when there was a 5 year old in the pools that might decide to play with it the local responded, "it's not loaded". Where have I heard that one before...
